  I went there to get a dress for an engagement party. I received NO help from anyone except from the cashier when I was paying for a dress(of course!). The changing rooms don't have enough light and there was no one to give me any advise. The ladys working at the store seemed stressed. They only worry about putting the clothes back in place.. Oh and they only interact with you to make sure you only try on 3 items at a time.
  I was uncomfortable and unsure about the dress so I bought it and went to Queen street mall for a few minutes in order to try it on over there. I went for 5-10 minutes to the Myer's changing rooms (nice staff, full of mirrors and good lighting) and I could see that the dress I got in City Beach didn't look good on me from behind so I went back to City beach to get my money back and they told me that even though I bought it a few minutes ago they wouldn't give me the money back because it was on sale. The dress was in original condition; with all tags attached, packaging intact, and I gave them my proof of purchase but still it wasn't enough!
  First of all, I didn't even notice that the price was reduced at the moment of purchase and they didn't even advise me that if I changed my mind I couldn't get my money back.
  At the end, they gave me store credit but I don't want to buy anything else in the store ever again! Not after this bad experience and I would definitely tell everyone I know about it. Denying you the money back and giving you a "gift card" is BS. So frustrating!!! Never going back again.
